Best way to do it is this:
A) find someone else to do it for you
B) get an internet host (free ones tend to suck and NOT let you do this), upload, and link.
sometimes free hosts don't let you link off-site images; e.g. if you linked an image stored on blahblahblah.com to the VWBB (volitionwatch.com) it would say "wtf?" and not work.
