ok
Well i had been LOD'ing the models.. compression of all the faces is a pain in the arse.. but I dont think ive gone to far with the polys.. thier all vary prim esspecially the fighters I kept thier polys around the same as thier counterparts ect uly = leo starr in the mod.. i think the leo is only 10 polys more..
The campaigns? On the DC.. err.. Volition / freespace watch site theres a link under fs1 for missons.. check the archives.. they are in there..
Ace though.. you never know.. hes always.. "re releasing" stuff.. I think he belives himself to be a lost child of Lucas arts or something

there should be like a 'smooth' option in 3D programs, so that it takes whatever model you're working with and cuts it down to a certain amount of polys automatically, thus letting you do LODs a lot easier.

Cardinal Spear and its sequal, Cardinal Spear: Vega recreated part of the Terran-Vasudan War. I believe it is available in the FreeSpace 1 mission archives. Here you will also find many other FS1 campaigns. I also recommend you try the Aftermath Campaign.
That seemed a little off-topic.

Its kind of funny (and i remember this too) that after we all played FS1 and beat it, we started making 'FS2' campaigns for FS1

Nowt as good as the human eye, though. Anyway, 'tis not exactly hard to do.
