In person - not on TV. Its not often she comes up here, I live near Leeds, she was last there in 1996.

I was in the guard of honour with my Cadet unit.

But anyway...

then that is how you was able to meet her in person.....a civilian would never be able to meet the Queen unless he/she is at the age of getting a gift for reaching 100 yrs old or something like that.

Oh, I know! Let's get it out of the taxes meant for the NHS!

i have acually sat in her lap. lol

when i was VERY young, my dad was in the Queens Flight.

It was like 18-19 years old, even more.........it could have been the old Queen.....

I don't remember this happening, but my dad and my mom say it did.
