Hey, I like Lexx....even if I've only seen a few episodes from the last season and the series finale. It seemed to me like more of a light-hearted sci-fi spoof. I especially liked that guy who was the President of the U.S. "Unfortunately Tokyo and most of coastal Japan was wiped out, but we don't care about that do we?"

Dark Angel was good in the first season, then they got into all that other genetic crap, with dog-men, lizard-men and stuff like that, which in my oppinion ruined the whole show. It just sort of went downhill from there.

Just a little
I'd like to know who the single soul was who voted for "Evan H. Chen is the man!"

Whats a matter with you guys?? Those who chose Chen's music must be either on LSD or making fun of us.
Chen's music souds like someone throwing metalic chards at a toilet. When I saw ACTA I was greatly disapointed by the low atmosphere it had specialy with sound tracks.
ITB tracks are pure glory.
Sci-fi must always come along with dedicated space opera like music or at least a good and easy listening tunes not that trash punk psichadelic metalic music. It completely kills mood and gives a feeling of crappy low budget production.
On top of that I was used to the good quality of Chris's music. Replacing it by chen's was a downgrade.

U said it!that exactly describes his music. In ITB u actually felt something, particularly when u see the olympus and the starfuries fightin the sharlin fleet and just gettin massacred whereas in Crusade...I just felt nothing...the music didnt seem to go with the series at all. Can't say for Call to Arms cos i hav nvr seen it....poor deprived me! lol.

I voted for Chen. Franke is the more talented. Sleeping in Light. I rest my case. In spite of that, Chen's score for Call To Arms was a brave move away from the standard orchestral score. The result was a good idea poorly executed. A disturbing low key score with tons of contemporary style, marred by generally dodgy composition. It also does a poor job of picking up the on screen action. You can do that a little and get away with it, but not all the time. Never the less, Chen got my vote for style and effort. I would have given Copeland the vote for the same reasons.

Personally, I think your all being a bit hard on Chen. Although for the most part his music sucked, I think the Final battle music in ACTA suited the mood, a kind of desperate rush and confusion, and who can say they didn't think that when the Victory rammed the Death cloud that the music felt very moving, Honorable and Heroic. On the other hand Franke made very good battle music. Who can forget the "dun dun durn" when the Narn fleet was getting torn apart by shadow battle Crabs, Or the "chuh-chi chuh-chi bum-bumbum-bum" when the Centuri Battlecruiser open a jump point by B5 (I apologise for my lousy attempt at recreating Franke's Score with words).
