No, that's a standard field of view distortion.
I mean, if you take a square bitmap, create 6 instances of it in the background editor, and then arrange them into a cube around the player, it's impossible to get the edges to meet by using the same scale factor each instance. The top and bottom of the cube will be slightly squashed.

I've got a few problems my self, the hud and option screens don't seem to tile properly, there are a few triangle sheering effects here and there. If anyone does fix this I'd be v. gratefull. (GF3 and latest divers installed correctly)
