Patchwerk took the initiative to do something, and I am very happy with this character trait. Other host 3 missions and want a Babylon project avatar for it - the wrong motivation to work on TBP if I may say so.

This fixed size for jumpgate vortex is a good thing. Has to be made in any mission , but a good thing ! Go along, patchy !

Hey! In my defense, yes I am indeed a nut... ...and I had an hour to kill while downloading some stuff, and by golly, I like doin' website stuff. Now if you'll excuse me, my socks are boiling.

Oh, if anyone's interested, although I think it may just be my gfx card... the Voodoo3 2000 seems to be quite the odd bird... but the Nial's neutron gun didn't look to be very "beamish" during gameplay, and the laser seemed to poke out the back of the Nial when it was at high speeds. Tinkered with it a bit and got an effect that is pretty close to the series, save but for the "inverse gatling gun" effect of cycling through each emitter.

The current neutron gun effect for the Nial is the best the team could make it given the constraints of the FreeSpace 2 engine. What you're seeing is what we all see.
