Well,my guess is that he tried, suddenly sucked as a pilot, and went back to ol' mouse an' keyboard. I play a FPS with some silly binds since year 2000, and last week i tried to use optimized ones. I sucked for three days, my team begun complaining cuz i always let the enemy cap our flag, and went back to the silly binds.
I guess that when you've been using a control system for some time, people are never the same again...BUT THEY DO WHAT THEY'RE TOLD!AND SO WILL YOU! ;-)
>I can say basicly the same for those anti-twist rudders radicals. >only if you understood the pottential it has...
The next piece of harware ill buy after memory modules will be that kewl EM-based joystick with a rudder, in order to perform cool maneuvers (not only in TBP but also in IFH, where the new movement axis will need a rudder)
BTW, could the TBP staff add new effects to the FS2 FF??
>-its more precise because intead of springs controlling the >tension you have a magnetic field wich avoid that odd feeling >caused by the springs being attached in cross formation. the >tension is not the same in all directions.
How does that magnetic field work?Where could i read-learn more about input devices?
>-the springs will never break because there are none.
Thats what happened with my first joystick. Too much Tie Fighter i guess ;-)
Then again, my Wingman is f**** up because of too much use of turbo in Ep1 Racer ;-)))
It would be funny to see a demo of a mouse user trying to perform the "bonehead maneuver" lol

That is possible...if you use your head directly on the keyboard... will need a bit aof practice to hit the correct key appropriatly.

Bind mouse keys 4 and 5 to upwards and downwards movement. There no need to drag your mouse up and down the desk. Anyways setting the mouse sensitivity up reduces most of the dragging movement anyway

still its a handicap way to fly. Admit it all you pro-Keyboard/mouse radicals you all fail to adapt yourselves to a better way of doing things. Pitch by mouse buttons??? you still have to yaw and roll.

hahahaha. Go tomcat.
Haderak: Twists can have all the 'potential' they want. If they interfere with my flying, they = gone.
This is why I love my Precision Pro 1 - the twist is just 'sticky' enough to stay centered every time unless I WANT it to move. Great stick

I had the precision 1 pro too. its twist is quite umprecise to the once compared on the second series. and it will moove only when you want it to. It has an angular spring for it. Better than yours.
I'm thinking in getting the new thrustmaster cougar (depends on the costs ), well thats a real stick...
Ok Ok I'm texturing...

God. I hate hate hate hate flaming death Saitek Cyborg 3Ds. Why? I *broke* two of them. I don't abuse my hardware; I had a Sidewinder 3D Pro for like 4 years before it died, these Saiteks went to hell within 2 months.
Digital mode 'skipped' around, randomly 'jerking' the stick in a direction making the game totally unplayable.
Analog was so mushy and unresponsive it wasn't funny.
We got one, it died, RMAed. Got another, it died, said 'screw this crap' and got a Wingman. Happy.
I still like my Precision Pro. I don't know wtf you're talking about telling me it's less precise; I like the twist and the stick better than the PP2. Having used both.
