A small correction:

As far as I know...
Release 2 contains rest of EA and Minbari ships.
Release 3 contains Narn and Centauri ships.

You sound as if I am in competing with you guys, I put this thing
together in two weeks, do you expect the ships to be perfect?

I would really like to know how to fix the colision dectection problem, and how to generaly make the ships better. And if I could model ships I would, but the best thing I can do is modify them.

As for the weapons, if anyone can come up with more realistic graphics please send them to me at TheEXone@hotmail.com , I thought they were pretty good, but I guess I was wrong.

ExOne, I don't think anyone's really dissing on you, he's just pointing out the flaws of your source - not that your work sucks. Your attitude to "figure out how to fix it" is very cool, and *ahem* I hope you get some help on how to fix 'em up so even if they aren't TBP official, they're nice and pretty

The meshes are bad but thats not your fault... whats missing here is better configs for ships, I have made the Thnor NOt fire, throught it self .Reconfigured all barrels normals, they were poiting to the front and now are pointing 90º directly away from the hull ,and put each weapon on the right turret, beams are now at the front and not the rear, They have a 60º firing cone. It is still capable of firing at any direction but at the same time not through it self. Also on the Vorchan made the barrels normals at 45º and they have a view cone of 45º wich ensures that it can fire to the front as well as 90º up (up turrets) and 90º down (down turrets) it cannot fire backwards and through the body or wings.

The sentri was a bit too big wich made the guns far appart and that was very dificult to hit fighters. (even now its a bit hard)
But this fighter sure looks cool.
The frazi was too small and apeared to fly like a rocket when it should look a tad sluggish. Was also hard to hit.

Thats it. your pack only needed a bit of more carefull thinking and organization.

Thanks alot, that problem with the turret fireing arcs was something I didn't know how to do properly. How exacly do you set up the normals?

I going to rescale the sentri and fix a few other problems. One thing I really need help in is the collision detection problem, How can I make it correct. Some ships are pefect, but others have holes you can fly through, this has to be fixed.

If you could send the pof's to me I would appreciate it. I will put them in the zip file to release by this weekend, I am adding the primus.

Also I was wondering if anyone would like to help me make a mission or two about the narn- centauri war in 2259.

Ok then I'll send them tonight at 21:00 (will be about 16:00 there)
I'll send also some tables entries because I swiched turrets guns to the right places. The sentri now behaves very similary to the show. Fast and deadly but slower than starfury at turning arround Y and Z axis. The sky serpent wont look strange any more, it will fly in straighter trajectories and its faster now (based on some battle sequences)
I wont be sending the sunhawk Because I'm using a different model...

Ahh by the way the narn transport makes the game accelerate and decelarate time a tad when you turn while aiming at any ship in close range...it apears its not a stable model. If any of you whats to make big massive missions avoid using this one.

Have you never used a model that caused difference in speed while you turn? its a common symptom of unstable meshes.
Well at least it does to me when i have narn transports on screen.
Besides id does look bizarre, looks like its squashed...

noooo icefire the models I'm sending are modified versions of the unoficial pack, just tweked some turrets that all. All of our models are safe.... and will be MUCH better I'm not sending them away that would be crazy LOL
