Probably symbolism. The Centauri were not part of the ISA after the first year of it.

Yeah, not much can reduce me to shedding a fear tears but they welled up inside of me for Sleeping in Light. I think it has alot to do with the music that Franke wrote for the episode (because listening on its own evokes a similar response) but its also the dialogue and how it was shot.

Just incredible. An amazing end to the series.
