hehe I got the power ..so I can sweer..it seems that we have a bad situation...
we didn't think that we could have more than one Minbary station ...he have 3 now ..first 2 we talked about where one AOG/Sierra and Sierre..and this new baby.

I wonder whether the stations should be armed heavily at all but rather rely on ship defence. I say this becasue as far as I can remember the video of the 1000 year old station didn't show it firing, and now that I think about it I can't remember any station on the actual show firing a weapon other than B5, e.g. the ring station, the narn stations attacked by the shadows, they all relied on ships to defend them.

The Minbari stations are armed....makes no sense not to. Maybe the station wasn't firing because the FX guys decided it wasn't necessary. Doesn't mean it doesn't have weapons. What if they were destroyed already. All these questions.

I thought the big station is the same as the one in that pic up there. Kind of blurry tho...so I can't really tell.

This outpost was destroyed 1000 years ago in the Shadow WAr... And the replacement for this was Babylon4... But I believe this was the Minbaris last best hope for victory and they didn't build another... Even thou it looks cooler than the other one I would suggest that you model the orbital platform or whatever it was...

i read somewhere that the last shadow war lasted seven years, so they would definently need some decent mainbase.

Maybe it was just built for that war only?

So we have space station -

#1 - Large Mimbari Starbase.

#2 - Smaller Orbital Platform.

#3 - Ancient Mimbari Starbase (probably a 1 off)

I'm doing #2 at the moment.

Well, I've done some slight modification to the sides of the station, where the fin and the ring meet, to make it look more like the reference.

As it is, I'm ready to go to version 2 as it were, and begin the conversion and de-triangulation.
