and there is a possibility of the santhies to be mass produced. seeing on how advanced their tech is you would think they would have developed a faster way of building testing and modifying their equipment and ships. so maybe the can spit these things out in about a 3 months to a year?? or maybe even shorter?? a week would be to quick or we would be up to or necks in santhies.....

i also had another wonderful idea, waht if the santhies are not the strongest ships they have?? waht if the cruisers and corvettes that we think are vettes and cruisers, are nothin but small attack craft adn the santhies are the vettes or destroyers, adn their is somethin larger and more menecing

Getting much bigger than a Sathanas might be silly since the player cannot effect the ship without ludicrous weaponry, but a "more developed" sort of threat could be fun... (no it will be, and you will like it! B****h lives! Then again B****h could even be a construction Mammoth... )

Even then, mobile Shivan construction yards are an interesting idea.

Hugantious ships.. I think its best summerized as "putting your eggs in one little basket" maybe not a little basket but.. how many decks did the GTVA monstrocity have? severail thousand decks? how many people baught it when a sathanas (probably ran by 10 shivans) carved it into bite size?

One thing ive come to accept in the way shivans work is that the little buggars we see flying about are probably nothing more then attack forms.. for marines, and anything small and breahing.. while the ships themselves are actuall entities.

think about the plauseability of shivans needing subspace and having heavy shields.. and low armor.. in subspace shields are null soo what protect them from the radioactive flux of subspace?

not much.. perhaps its thier food or lifeblood... something in thier makes them able to mutate and grow into these huge ships..


and since space is just there... well..

so ur thinking Starcraft meets Descent?? in Starcraft for those who havent playe (not that many i hope) the brood did sort of the same thing right?? mutate and reform to make their ecosystem bigger and more powerful?? can the same idea work like Omega said???

Az you have the right idea.. Shivans would be a type of Zerg of space...

makes sence being theres no real.. Home or centrailization of things for them aside from thier cargo depots "which end up being traps anyhow"... they have cargo ships..

but you notice the majority of thier ships dont look like shivans....as the black and red hostile types.. thier hostile but thier diffrent colored.. and probably are carriers fro troops or.. repairers or some other.. strange shivan like function to where they would need to use cargo pods..


maybe cargo pods are really in mass a type of waste product.......... EECh second thought thats kinda sick..

Well Markus Hastreiter is doing up many original pieces very close to the original FS2 soundtrack in style for the campaign.

If you liked the music in FS2, you'll love the tracks added here and there to make things more cinematic and for the feel of a FS2 online expansion done by Volition that never was
