Its not a hoax because WildWolf had me and Orange test the thing a few months back. It works to a limited degree of success although we had trouble with RivaTNT video cards for a bit it seems to work much better now.

There is a playable version. Its not very exciting. You kill 5 bad guys who don't move and have unbalanced firing rates, and their bullets don't hit you. I'm excited just thinking about it. When an actual "game" exists, I'll release it, considering I get the "OK" from Volition and/or Interplay...

you know Volition would be cool with it. The only people who might get pissed is Interplay, and honestly, I don't really see how if you properly credit them for owning the copyright...but then again, I'm being optimistic :P
