Wait a moment..what do you mean with 3D Shockwave?
Just a shockwave that looks 3D or a real 3D shockwave?
Do you have any pics.....and how does it work, or lets say how to do that?

it's a artist definable POF file that gets scaled and rendered specaly,
what the hell just DL and try it

also the olympus is still giveing everybody problems, yes?
well, run it now and make sure it's still crashing, then DL this file unzip it to you're FS folder and tell me if it works now. if it does I am going to give my self such a smack cause it was such a stupid thing

as thy bid, master
better prepare for some self slapping, cause the sucker works now, watch:

Anyway, whatever you have done to get it to work, THANKS

on a side note: the TBP asteroids now look like giant shiny gold nuggets ...the pics don't give it real credit, you have to see it in movement

and I think we need proper shine maps for the TBP models, cause now some shine where they shouldn't and vice versa.

EDIT: Am i stupid or does the lvlshot tag not work here ?

hmm, I don't think asteroids should be shine mapped at all, I bet you're frame rate went to about four in that mission, unless you have an ubbersystem

and the problem with the orion was /*give self such a smack*/ two of it's textures had too many charicters, I added an error mesage to the file system that will make these problems easier to track in the future

lol, well I have a Athlon 1900+, GF Ti4200, 512 MB DDR

When I started the mission, the fps dropped at 10-15 with graphics at full (everything turned to max)
So I set hardware textures back to 3 dots and it run smoothly. The funny part is, when I switched back to full details to take the shots, it still run well with about 25 fps. Don't know exactly why...

EDIT: btw...the smooth shading stuff you mentioned above doesn't seem to work with your shine exe, at least that's what i thought when I looked at the sharlin, it's pretty "edgy" now
