If I remeber correctly, there was one part when a she-pilot babbled about his grandfather serving the Bastion and is told to stay focused after the "family history".

What about the guy at the end of the third mission who gets into a big argument with Command about there not being a blockade at the jumpnode...which allowed Bosch to escape.

I really really really think this is a non-issue. There are plenty of cases where women are not regarded in a fair light...but I don't think this is one.

In Desecent: FreeSpace, the Bastion's CO; Admiral Shima was a woman and that was just fine and dandy.

My name is not Siegfried Line. But yes, sfried does stand for Siegfried.
