There are plenty of other things in the universe to draw our attention while TBP is being worked on - I suggest you take an interest in one of them while waiting, Strider.

when did you guys fnish the GOD sats? Last I checked they were still all-white. (but then again the narn an centauri had one ship apeice tha was done when you finished their warships.)

Well, the logic behind the current strategy is that not everyone in the community can FRED2. Therefore, if we released without a mission package then it doesn't do those people much good.

It's already very likely voice acting will be left out of R2. I don't think people want us cutting any more corners that necessary.

Decisions still seem to be in limbo at the moment, but you must understand that voice acting takes a lot of time, particularly when we've got more missions than in Release 1. It could literally push the release date back a month or two, well after the playable materials are actually finished.

I think that voice acting for R2's missions could come at a later date.

What does everyone think about this? Are you fanatically opposed to no voice acting or would you be okay if it wasn't included in the initial R2 release?
