In that case you would be hard pressed with the available ships. No Primus or Octurion. Better leave the Narn & Centauri for guest appearances rather than centre a campaign around them.

The Raiders are an obvious choice for a new campaign, with the Minbari having been done, and more Raider and civilian ships in the new release.

Obviously I'm biased though as I want to see my Raider ships used in a campaign

It's not just the Primus or Octurion, but I don't think we have shuttles/freighters and other support ships for Narn/Centauri either.

The raider campaign idea sounds good. Haven't flown the 109 Zephyr with the new tables yet though, so I couldn't say how difficult such a campaign might be to balance.

The Zephyr is better than before and I specifically made sure that it would be easier to compete against the AI in a campaign. Before it was insanity to even try and fight against an Aurora without complete numerical superiority. So, Raider campaigners, its doable now...more so than before.

In terms of no campaign, we decided against a campaign for now. Skullars massive masterpiece (MM!) will eventually be done and it will be the definitive campaign for this MOD.

We will be presenting you guys with 8+ single missions for R2, plus revamped versions of the R1 demo campaign with minor tweaks for the new table sets and that sort of thing.

So its not like we're skimping on missions. They just aren't in a campaign.

Will these Models be released at a later time? I've always wanted to fly up to one of those HUGE ships from the opening in season 3-4. I know in all likelihood that it will be quite awhile (possible over a year to two years) before the Narn and Centauri ships are added, but you are certainly going to try? You are not abandoning on those ships are you?

Completing the Narn and Centauri vessels are pretty much next on the priority list.

We actually had a "dummy" Primus model converted into the game (dummy because it has no LODs, textures, or debris, just the LOD0 and some turrets to test balances).

Until the FSOpen EXE gets proper volley fire code in for pulse guns we won't be quite ready to release those vessels anyways.

I know it's being worked on, but it could take a long time for them to add that. I wouldn't hold up those ships for one effect. Taking liberties with authenticity to get bab5 in freespace 2 is what TBP is all about.

I agree. Don't hold ships back because of the salvo fire thingy. It's silly. Salvo fire can be added when it's ready.

I'd disagree with that

One of the things that makes the Babylon 5 universe feel so different and internally consistant is that each race (OK, each technology) has a different look and feel, equally the tactics and weapons use profiles of the differeing races add depth.

To release vessels that don't operate in the correct way would be...wrong.

There's something about the idea of fighting Narn or Centari forces who fight like EA that strikes an off-note with me.

Better wait and face them properly.

OK, I can't type today!
