Is the standoff pic taken from an actual TBP mission or was that
just a "test run"?
I believe its a test run...but I will have a very nasty battle planned for release or just after release.

Those look absolutely spectacular. You guys have gone above and beyond with these models. I've a couple of questions for any team members, please answer whatever you guys can that doesn't spoil any surpises you have instored.
Will R2 come with a new campaign, a set of individual skirmish missions, both or neither?
I recall early on you guys wanted R2 to contain all the EA and Minbari ships from the show. I recently saw a shiplist for R2 which included 4-5 mystery ships. If this is still the plan and since the only combat ships I saw where the Raider ships, Omega, Omega-X and Hyperion-Theta (Midwinter), am I right in assuming the Warlock will be among the mystery ships released? If so is there any possibility of seeing them with other EA ships fighting Omega-Xs in a mission or 2?
Anything you can give an answer to I'd really appreciate. This is by far my favorite TC and I can't wait for the next release. Awesome job.

What version of FS2 did you guys use? It looks like the beam in the first pic is coming from the barrel of the turret; am I hallucinating or have I just been a fool for the past 12 months? because I could swear that beams don't turn the turrets.

You have been a fool for the past 12 months.
As a side note, it is no secret that original FS2 ships have had problems with their turrets.
Anyway, Phalanx-turrers are cool looking when they are firing anti-fighter beams.

The turret turn speed is set pretty high to avoid that problem.
FreeSpace 2 turrets do turn for beams...but they usually look silly doing it. Haven't had as much of a problem with the Omega-X turrets in that regard.
It was never that they didn't turn just that sometimes they did look silly.

You know, I've put my FS2 and TBP away. Not played them for a few months. But I've got a new spec PC and once R2 comes out it'll be back on the system.
Serious repect to everyone involved, especially the Omega-X, how sinister do they look
D.

In the show the turrets on the omega rotate pretty fast anyways. The big turret under the bow on the Orion does turn for it's beam. When the NTF makes a run for the Knossos you try to take out the Vindicator at a rally point and a sobek jumps in next to it then that turrets turns and fires a big beam, it was a BGreen not an antifighter beam. too bad you can't make the main turrets on the bow rotate since they do in the show(watch "Endgame"). Too bad [V] never put the big turrets on the side of the Diemos like on the box cover.

2.1 for the Warlock??? Just my luck, I have to do a full reinstall of my OS and I'm waiting around for R2 to come around so I can save that and all TBP stuff I have to a cd and you tell me I have to wait even longer to get the Warlock...oh Ratz!!!
Will 2.1 at least have the Warlocks in a mission or 2? Thanks for the info Sigma.
