look here

first of all: blueflames, I agree that it is likely that simply more people like descent (that does not it a better game ), but can you honestly vouch for the entire Descent community? Well you might say that can I vouch for the FS community. No, but you guys are winning (by a lot) so the suspicion falls on you.

Personally I have my doubts, though I'm kinda skeptical and right now I think that you probably werent cheating (well not an auto-voter anyway)

That said, this poll is

a)only by and webmaster of Interplay not the actual execs themselves

b)Will probably be reset/restarted when a more secure voting system is in place

c)was used to show how much interest both games would generate, not pitting them against each other (I think), and both did very well I think.

BTW i just Dled the Descent3 demo, pretty cool..

anyways I think this was a bad episode in the history of a community that should be like brothers instead of enemies..I know i know, I acted badly too, but I still want to see FS win

It is a bad thing that some people who like Frespace I and II is too slow to vote on the Internet at Interplay.

It is therefor the Descent game is winning the poll at Interplay....

But I have cast my vote on Freespace 2 which is the greatest Space Sim... EVER... no other space sim will ever find its way to real Freespace fans like the rest of you fellows......
