Edwin definately is overreacting. B5Tech is a great resource, unfortunately, sometimes they tend to flourish and take alot of licence to make some stuff up. Thunderbolt beam weapons, Olympus corvettes with X-Ray lasers, and so on. I like their site, I use it all the time but they like to fill in the blanks with stuff that I don't necessarily agree with. Thats all.
Its not a piece of crap. Its not taboo. Its just another interpretation and sometimes I get annoyed by that interpretation...but hey, thats what opinion is all about.

Well the starfury HAS got four guns, two down the bottom and two under the top wing even my B5 security manual says that and its endorsed by JMS.The two we always see firing fire quicker but at least power while the top two fire slower but have more power behind each shot.

I kind of had that kind of feeling too.
Essentialy, our decision for the MOD was this. We're going to as closely mimic what was actually/typically seen on the show as opposed to what the tech guides show us. In every case, we see only two shots being fired from those StarFury's...thus, we've gone for two guns. As it may be, there may be two different sets but in terms of FS2...its just two guns and thats good enough for us.
When the CGI screws up or is inconsistent, we go with the best situation for us. Its a guessing game, not everyone has to agree. Its just a judgement call and it also comes down to game balance. I mean, in the show StarFury's typically go boom when hit...but thats not really fun for FS2 now is it?

If it was one shot one kill then noone would last 5 sec against a sharlin with its anti-fighter beams.

If I'm remembering right, the Ivanova and her squad used the "upper cannons" against the raiders in Thirdspace.
And who knows, on which year B5Tech puts its information, maybe 2400?

B5Tech is like many other "ship referrence" sites that try to hold a historical perspective from the in-universe stuff I guess. Too many blanks to fill in...
As for Aurora armament, didn't the bottom two cannons have 2 barrels each?(At least it looks that way on the model...)

If I'm not mistaken, the starfury has barrels above too. I'm not sure if these are weapons or forward thrusters.
