FS2 always defaults starting position of multibarreled turrets that way. There is nothing we can do unless coders modifies source in this case as well.

Its not a "problem" its a "feature".
Unlinked weaponry is in the source code plan I believe but I'm not sure if thats been done for the beams yet or not.

FS2 is written in C++. I would have made some changes by know if it weren't for the fact that my compiler hates me. It allways has at least one #include file it cant open.

In the one year (I know that isn't much) I learned only to programm console applications (hope this is the correct translation of "Konsolenanwendung").
I don't think I can make something usefull, but I take a look.
