poping poly, there is a non flat polygon there,
one of the reasons I always tried to get Tomcat to do better optomisations, espesaly after booliens, but he always seemed to take it the wrong way
looks prety good untill you get within about 500m (based on these pics)
I think you should ether make a super detail level with mega high res textures or rethink you're textureing tecniques (I'd go with option two, makeing the diferent colored sections into diferen't polys with a tiled texture of the right color, but that's just me)

I mean the textures look blury up close
I'm sudgesting ether make the textures bigger
or make the models in a way that you can tile a smaller texture (you'd probly have to redo about 60% of the model this way though)

bob what you suggest is for option 2 is way too complicated to get all the detail in
