stop it, your makeing me drool.

I for one agree with your reasoning and want a permanent copy of all of B5 on DVD that won't degrade over time (like videos).

Bring it on

Any estimates on when Season 2 will hit the stores?

Warner Home Video's B5 site. Requires Flash, how tasteless.

I'm not seeing any info on season 2, though. I'd imagine they'll get them out the door within a few months of one another, however.

Edit: 6 DVD set, so it looks like ~ 4 episodes per DVD, so 168 minutes a disc. That quality had BETTER be superb!

Well, here's the official feature list.
All-new digital widescreen transfers.
Soundtrack remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1
Audio Commentary and Introduction on 2 key episodes by JMS
"Behind Babylon 5" Dossier of Documentaries: "The Making of Babylon 5" and "Back To Babylon 5"
some other stuff...blah blah blah.

Looks good to me. Maybe they'll have the episodes on 5 discs and the extras on the sixth, who knows?

Probably either have the extras on the final DVD with two episodes on it as well or have the extras on the DVDs with the episodes with director's commentary on them (Babylon Squared and Chrysalis if I'm not mistaken).
