Omega was made before B5.

Omega sepped in service at 2249-2250 as first EA warship capable of rotational gravity. They were desing in hurry to fill hole from EA-Minbari war.

then you'd better start practicing chewing because you'll be at it for a while. Once i find that episode, i'll be able to do the paterns... all i can remember at this point is that they flew in an x formation

this however may require a second version of the whitestars being created, one that doesnt use weapons hardpoints but instead turrets (with very narrow fire arcs) as im not sure if they'll be able to fire primaries and secondaries while maintaining a constant speed and following waypoints...

Edit: the player would be further back in the formation so that he/she can actually see the fireworks, i'd also need a head ani for Ivonnova(sp)

Correct....and infact, the surviving Nova's that were not completed (ie. still in drydock) were converted into Omega class ships.

The order of being seen in the series does not correspond to when the ship came into service.

Actually...if im not mistaken, the Omega class was actually seen (very briefly) before we saw the Hyperion class. The flashback of the Mars rebellion and that strange "dead" guys ship being splashed.

Nah nah, I get to correct you now!

The first time we saw an Omega was at the beginning of Season 2, while we saw the Hyperion late in Season 1.

The flashback scene from "A Spider in the Web" was a later Season 2 episode. Strangely enough, the flashback depicted that particular Omega-class destroyer, the EAS Pournelle, firing blue pulse blasts from its forward batteries.

Skullar, that's good to hear but of course there is nothing to stop people creating their own user made missions of these events in addition to your campaign. This would actually be quite important if people want to play the missions from the loyalist point of view instead of the B5/rebel point of view. All it requires now is a little imagination, scripting and the ships to make it happen.
