not sure what's causeing that, but I'll probly be able to fix it,
I totaly redid the way I do the fighter beams so it's all diferent than the last version

Nope, apparently not yet. It's still possible to limit that range that AI uses them though.

Is it possible to let a beam look like waves?
Is wave the right word?
I mean let them look like the beams used by vorlon fighters and cruisers.
The Dreadnaught uses a "normal" beam as far as I remember.

If I remember correctly (probably don't ), the problem with a detailed beam graphic for regular beams was that the beam itself would be stretched indefinitely. If the beam failed to hit anything and shot off into the infinite depths of space the beam graphic got stretched infinitely as well, distorting any detailed graphic and making it indistinguishible from the rest. However, if you've got a highly accurate beam that can reliably hit a target 10/10 times then this isn't as much of a problem.
