There isn't any fredding going on TBP or not, and there's been many new ships built by people and released to the public. Maybe when there's some big source code changes people might get back into it.

Skullar, Lady Rose, Mr Fury, Xaphod, myself and several others are either in progress with a campaign (script) or going to start in the near future. Much of this work has started a long time ago but simply put needs time to come to fruition. You have to realise that quality TBP missions/campaigns are not going to be made overnight, more like over the course of a year!

I thank you guys. I know it's hard, i've made a few missions. There's been a mission drought for a long time, I'm just pointing out that fact, not complaining.

I'm trying to say that anything anyone can release will be appriciated and played by me. When there'a a total lack of new missions in the freespace 2 world it isn't the time to be picky.

I prefer to play a single memorable mission/campaign like Derelict than 50 not-so-original under average missions. Personally, I can wait.
I suppose, LAMBO, that you can't; so, here is my advice:

All people who are new to missionmaking, release what you do (but after playing it at least once plz), so that people like LAMBO has something to play. BUT, hear then both good and bad criticism, in order to improve.
Those that have already showed what they can do (like those mentioned in the post above) invest more time each time you make a new mission. I'm glad that some new quality campaigns and missions are coming.
I'm also looking forward to that Mission Archive you already talked about.

Don't expect to much about that archive...
They are talking about that for approx. 4 months now... Everytime they say it's gonna be ready very soon...
I believe it when I see it, not before...
