I have a feeling that Dooku is going to kill Padme, which out of anger Annie kills Dooku and then becomes Vader. (probably Obi-Wan is thrown into the mess, knocking him into a volcano or something)

Actually, a lot of stuff may be left out of Ep 3 and conveyed in various books and things.

Palpatine has already been granted supreme power by that idiot Jar-Jar, so he's already the Emperor.
Anakin is already partially on the dark side. Palpatine is a trusted friend of Anakin, and the two are on pretty good terms. Anakin accepts advice from Palpatine. POOF, he's now Darth Vader and helps Palpatine and the Republic / Empire to kill all the Jedi. Yoda forsaw that Anakin was unpredictable so he knew that he had to flee. He runs off the Dagobah or somewhere. Killing lots of Imps on the way, of course. Obi-Wan knows Darth's weaknesses and manages to knock him into some kind of lava / acid pit.
Abracadabra, Darth now has that suit which seems to be able to make him super-cool.
Also, there may be the beginning of the Rebellion, but that will probably be left out of the film and put into books instead.

Either way, Ep3 must be one HELL of a long film.

I finally saw this a couple days ago. Lots better than Phantom Menace, but something odd I noticed was the huge amount of repetition. Light saber gets cut in half twice, Jedi falls through "streets" of Coruscant twice, C3PO makes painfully bad pun twice, Tuskan raiders get decapitated twice, Obi-Wan sends garbled holographic message twice, bad guys make huge mindless army twice, and so on. Also lots of shameless repetition of lines from the original trilogy.

And why do the first-generation stormtroopers kick so much ass compared to the ones in eps 4-6?
