Cause its the default nameplate when you load the mesh..
This one anyway..
Easily changed....

that looks MUCH better, neat idea with the HUD!!!

the hud is designed by Mark Kane, one of the best B5 modellers out there... take it up with him

if you still wanna change stuff, add some red beams to the omega, all the weapons are green, gets redundant... and the reason it may seem "cold" and blank is because of the rather plane nebula...find some colorful, scary one, filled with stars, make it look like night time, not daytime.

All I did there was parent the camera to a Starfury and move it so you were looking out the cockpit...
I should also add that the Omega is by Matt Tarling, Thunderbolt by Nick Lee.. I usually forget to give credit :/

my 2 cents

hey great job on the picture.

I think there should be some enemy fighters so the starfuries could light up the sky with some more colors, and the red beam doesn't look right, it's color is blocked out by the green ones and just doesn't seem bright enough

Also, maybe one or two ships battling it out far in the distance but no behind the PK to show just how big it is?
