I'm much more lighthearted than I get credit for. I do, however, like threatining to use the "ownz0ring stick"

I wasn't offended at all. I wasn't going to close it until it went totally off-topic (and consider this: It actually did a decent job of staying on-topic for most of its posts)

However, tomcat closed it and I'm not going to cross him on that one; "moderator's discretion" does exist.

so you found it boring.. well I find chat shows boring.. I find QVC boring.. so I never watch them, and it doesn't bother me.
But I don't stop other people from watching them or participating in them.

I find football boring, but I wouldn't remove all football from television because it bores me, because I know that there's people out there that it doesn't bore.

True, but there's a difference between TV and a webboard, because this is a focused TBP forum. Think of it as TBP's channel on TV; if they started talking about the latest rugby matches on TBP's channel, you'd be weirded out, wouldn't ya?

a valid point there.. but really the TBP junkie thread wasn't off topic.. using the same analogy, it's like a program on a sports channel about liking sport a lot.
