Sorry, I can't talk, I have to go assassinate and impersonate key Interplay personnell so I can give Volition legal rights to do Freespace 3.
Or something.
You could do the same thing for some d00ds at Sierra/Havas (what is it in these days?)
Anyway, funny as hell I managed to read some old Pelit (Finnish gaming magazine) and there was this one line: There hasn't actually been any good Sci-Fi shooting (Freespace wasn't a simulation, see) games since Freespace 2. That just got me sad... damn those Interplay bastards.

BTW: I heard a bit of Freespace Forever. Maybe: use the engine, add all MODs, upgrade a pair of things and call it Freespace 2,5...

I've still got my copy, but it's scratched to the point of uselessness; I need to resurface it a few dozen times.

Freespace 1 & 2 were released as a double-pack on budget in the Uk (White Label) - £10 for both - albeit no Silent Threat or FS2 SSOTY edition.
Should still be some lying about in Virgin, HMV, Game, etc - maybe they've sold out......

Look in Computer Shopper. There's always an add somewhere in there selling the FS-Pack. Never see silent threat though.
