Everything I've read has been positive about its development. The only word about it of course is that its being done behind closed doors.

ok, on the offical HW2 site, they had a sign up and a countdown to release.

I signed up and was expecting an email, but then the offical hw2 website is GONE, and all the gaming magazines said its scrapped.

Little correction to make...

I just copied this from Relic News, as far as I'm concerned this is prety official.

"YES! It's true!!! This thread started out asking if Homeworld 2 was going to be developed by Microsoft (No, it's not), but it ended with a hope of the possible release of news. Gamigo, a German(?) site has a report of Marc Ryder mentioning a few games being a "priority" for Sierra. It's got a few people talking and we MIGHT see some real HW2 news. Keep your Fingers crossed!

That was posted on March 9. Also, that countdown as far as I understand was for previewing the game at E3 last year. The site is still there, all they did was remove the countdown.

Also, if Sierra does can HW2, they can expect some retaliation. They've already made plenty of mistakes in what games they decided to make, we all should know at least one that would have made a great game.

Something, it doesn't matter, because that teddy bear is real killer who belives in same justice as I Aku Soku Zan (sorry Ashrak) and it is fearce killing machine which will kill whole command staff of Sierra!

After that we'll have new Sierra staff which is favourable to Babylon 5. Long live B5 and TBP and Aku Soku Zan! Da** where is my sword? I need to bust some heads!
