donno and i was asking the TBP team if they could do shadow textures like that look better in game than on screenshot and was there a problem with making the whitestar a fighter (none player flyable) just that it would move like a "whitestar" ?

Jason this is complete inapripriete to ask such thing.....
yes SAAb is a modable universe with TONS of reference..but the models where not too numberous..3 Chig fighters, 1 bomber , some freighter, some shuttles , Saratoga, Chig carrier, CHig destroyer and that it is almost all...i had planed a retirement from B5 and start SAAb but that is not the case anymore.. if i ever finish B5 univers(weak chance SAAb is next on the row ..and I can promisse you meshes of superb qualities ..but until that B% rules

Well, we can't animate the textures if thats what your asking. We can probably use a 512x512 map and it'll look pretty cool and detailed.
We're having trouble with the WhiteStar model at the moment. Presently it crashes as a "bomber". However, its just a preliminary model and there may be errors somewhere. Its my hope to have the WhiteStar operate as close to what it did in the show as possible.

I dont understand why my proposition was 'inappropriate', Tomcat. There were ships in the series that were seen in only a few episodes for a short period of time that can be used. Many more than what you have listed.
I mean, how many ships do you guys have in this Earth Minbari Campaign already? A few fighters and a few cap ships and a few shuttles. Would be the same for S:AAB, wouldnt it?
And some guy named Ian Andrews said he wanted to try a SAAB mod for FS2. Sent me an email about it a few months ago. I saw his name in the staff section, but it doesnt look like he is currently on the team.

IP Andrews...he's on the team.
I'm not entirely sure what Tomcat was trying to get across, but English isn't his first language so give him some latitude. He means well (when he's not saying that he isn't)

I um, LOL, certainly see your point, Ice.
I will pay no hede since I cant understand what points he is trying to get across anyway. If he took a second and went to my website, I have 2 of those ships that werent seen in the series too often available in 3D MAX format. They look pretty cool.
I do understand that he said that the idea sucks though. I, and many others would tend to disagree though.
And it was just that: an idea. Ill stop if it offends anyone else.
