tomcat, the site you referenced has its calculations based upon many CGI inconsistancies such as the White Star/Drakh Cruiser scene in the show was way out of scale based upon previously established size precidents.

I think the moral of this debate is that there are too many inconsistancies in the show to have any set of figures that everybody can accept. The best anybody can do is compromise between the "official" figures and viewer observations to have a set of figures acceptable to the majority of people. I can live with the official figures, the ones used in TBP or the ones on that site and it wouldn't make any real difference. I prefer the official figures because of their source and the fact that there aren't too many CGI contradictions but that's just me

Let us never forget the scene where a Sharlin Cruiser appears to be taller than Babylon 5 is long (a clear CGI error)!

Triggy: That site is basically doing the same guesses that we are and the sizes there are pretty damn good. I pretty much agree with them.

well this over discussed...those charts is are wrong in many part..still i some standardisation...but the one from Fabio Site is not taking the CGI..is user made CGI..is better than original B5...
the bad thin is that the ba5-on-the-net site is OFF ..ther was a realistic analize of screenshots coroboration data so the ships size where very accurate

It's nice to know that lots of people have made these comparisons so that you can build up your own ideas and then implement the most reasonable of them. I have no problem with these calculated sizes, especially as they seem to work very well in TBP
