the number of ships you can stick in FRED depends on how much RAM you have.. the more RAM the more ships you can add

Yes but it does not depend on RAM alone, I have currently 430 MB of free RAM (total 640). Let's see how many Novas I can put in... for me max is 24 Novas and player fighter with default loadout.

RAM only matters up to a point. Once you have 64/128 MB then then RAM no longer becomes the bottleneck, something else (unknown to me) does.

Hey, I am not sure if you were talking to me about the computer thing... But I did not understand what you meant... It sounds like you thought I said CPU speed mattered with creating missions? That totaly lost me, as I said nothing of that sort... Not that it matters. Thanks for your responce, and I am playing your release3 right now... I am liking it :-) I cannot wait until the Narns and Cents are in this... I always wanted to see that Narn battle cruiser tear up the Cents.... hehehe :-)

I think we're all looking forward to the release of all of the four major race's ships and stations......as long as that may take.

Sorry ArchAngel 777 I put my words little wrong out there. I mean that it doesn't matter how many ships you have in mission RAM doesn't chance it, well except it becomes slower. Your comp doesn't have any difference in that. Yes Fred2 can handle even ten thousand ships if nesesary, but FS2 doesn't there are weight limit. In Pera's Botl there are lot of ships and same in my Total war, we pushed FS2 in limits and then we took missiles out and done you can put more ships in there. Now do you get my point?

PS. Do you like it? Thanks. I dont get so many praises.

To: Lady Rose,

I thought you did a great job on it, and anyone else who may have helped. I know mission building is very complex and takes a lot of time... You have my sincere gratitude for those missions... :-)
