Does the GTD [G] hanger have a sort of inside or is it just a door? I was thinking it'd be really cool to start docked to the ship inside the hanger and fly out.

You could have an alarm sound going as well:
"WOOOP WOOOP WOOOP WOOOP"

I like the idea of flying out of its hanger.

Yeah, if they do make it like that it'll be fun. Is it possible to end the mission by returning to the hanger or must it always be a subspace jump.?

...except I don't think the engine can support that.

Still taking off from the Hanger would be cool enough. Could a targetting laser be fitted inside the hanger so it guides you out of the hanger?

Would the hanger be anything like the hangers on other cap ships:

Flying along and deciding to follow other ships inside...BAM, you hit an invisible wall.

No it wouldnt, it would just been a passage way into the ship and a big hollow square area textured like a Hanger. Dunno if its going to happen, no one on the BWO team has said anything.

It's possible to launch from a hanger in FS2, as long as the carrier model doesn't have that invisible texture over the hanger. You can even set that alarm klaxon with the right kind of FRED trickery.

Personally, I don't know if you can get in the Golgotha's hanger though. I've never tried it before.

You can fly out of any hanger....the invisible poly thing works only when trying to re-enter.

I always thought it was funny when you had to jump out to get to the Aquitane, but the Aquitane was right there.

Not when you add "dont_collide_invisible" to the flags in the TBL...

Well starting a mission in a Hanger would be cool, docked to the ship in question with alarms going off, scambling out at max speed.

You cant really, cheat. It doesnt let you advance to the next mission if you do use any of the codes.

Are you guys sure about that? If I cheat it lets me move on to the next level. Once when I had to reinstall FS2 I cheated all the way through the campain just so I had all the video clips again.

Note: I did not cheat first time round, I don't cheat until i finish a game, unless I'm testing out a map
