Never ever post this thing again. I think everyone knows it allready and it is realy a boring design.
It like when I resize an Omega ship to 300km lenght. Nothing new only bigger.
Show me something realy new. Maybe I will try it.

well, I don't mind the ship, but have seen it b4.. its *not* unrealistic.
In the Star Wars universe - where there are 4 different varieties of death star... (prototype, 1, 2, and Hutt), entire planets can be covered in cities, and spacefaring wasps can be the size of a sharlin (approx) - a ludicrously sized star destroyer is normal.

Why triangular? All Imperial capships are triangular. They're meant to be. I guess they *like* triangles.

But yes, we've seen it b4, and don't need to see it again.

Hey, you tend to start paying too much attention to typos when you visit the Pelit-magazines forums

Post Small Update

Just some Pic's

Here are close pics of the gun turrets.
http://members.tripod.de/MFGUSWLLDE/Arm_Own_guns.html

As you can see I have changed the gun turrets to my own. They are not the best, but the polycount is quite lower then the other one.
The textures are from TBP. I hope you are not to angry that I use them without asking you.

The next thing on my "to do" list is to reduce the polycount as far as I can.
Hope you like it so far, I do

also got to say dispite the fact the design isn't overly original its still cool and withing the starwars universe it is consistant its still not as big as a deathstar but more useful faster and can still vape a planet - and the reason the mon cals aren't that big is because these are build by and for the emperor who was one evil son of a *****

Wow.. that ship's cool

I can almost think of a back story.. something to do with the EA using the nova as inspiration for a new warship using the Minbari tech they've aquired. Its of slightly lower tech level than the Warlock - its a slightly older ship and is without the shadow tech - its basically their new mainstream destroyer.

Those turrets are slightly more powerful than the Omega's, but its new generation reactor allows for many more to be placed across the ships hull.

--edit

Those guns are WAY to high poly.. the missile launchers need to be little more than cubes.. the turrets shouldn't be much more complex than a 6 quad box... This is FS2, not the next generation super engine...

Obviously, poly count isn't a problem if you don't want to convert it.

Damm how did you find out that this engines would't work? I where so close to sell this design to an EA construction yard.

OK, enought of this sarkasm lets go back for real. I could cut of the second engine part a little bit, but what would it look like?

And yes I would like to convert (a lower polycount model) into Freespace. What I need are the turrets (that of the Nova would be fine) and engine parts from TBP and someone to tex and convert it into the game.
I dont know how to extract the models from the game so I still hope that someone else could help me with that problem. Could someone extrect and send me the parts mentioned above?

Or is there someone in TBP who wants this ship in the mod? I mean you want to use some not seen B5 ships, so why not my one?

Would be proud if you do so...
