How many of you guys dissing XP have ever tried it?

I have been runnning XP (Whistler Beta 2.0) for almost a year on my home PC. Most of my friends have been running it for two years.

Guess what; I haven't had to reboot, or even turn off my computer in 4 months. It's that stable. EVERY Windows program that had problems with other makes- i.e. AVP in NT works perfectly in XP. It is an intellegent design. Things make sense and work fluidly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a microsoft lover, I think IRIX is the best OS out there, atleast for CG artists like myself, But XP is the best OS for the average guy that I, atleast, have ever used. So unless you've tried it, don't beat up on it.

Sorry Kazan. Hope you'll change your mind. Or opt for multi OS setup.

I'm planning on upgrading to XP soonish. I've heard its quite stable, but its good to hear from people in the field
