That's why I think only the texture files are corrupt or it is something with your gfx card and those textures... strange thing.

Do you use high-res textures? Which gfx card do you have?

1) I do have the Hi-Res Texture Pack, yes.

2) My gfx card is a 'GeForce2 GTS 32MB'.

3) As I stated in the email to White-SF, I've updated eveything I can think of that could have influenced the gameplay.

I've seen that before! Haha, it's really whack to try and fly like that. Kind of like an acid trip, except no flashbacks.

...I think somebody found a workaround. I'll go search for it...

OK. This is for FS1 ... and it's registry hacking. Not to mention it most certainly isn't sure to work...they say similar things will work in FS2, but.

Looks like a pallet problem. The colors are being incorrectly mapped.

Does this happen with FreeSpace 2 normally? Do you or did you have any other MODs installed? Your using NSIS installer eh?

The textures are largely in /maps - see if you can open them with Windows Paint (it opens PCX files). If they are fine then it sounds like a driver problem of some sort, or some really strange occurance.

Look at all the colours, I've got a GF2 and don't see anything like that, you may need to update your drivers....

I'm running old drivers and it doesn't look like that. Except one time I did something funky and it did that.....but its never done it again and it was probably from running something strange in the background.

no not a corrupt download...looks like bad video card driver or video card setting...
