Don't have to dust off CD here
This is one reason why I got the game... over or about a year ago now... and now the stupid (not so stupid, maybe comp) smilly legend doesn't want to work for me and I'm too lazy to put em in manually...

Yes, we timed it specifically to piss you off......no. Countless numbers of the staff are ALREADY at University (as am I) and thats not stopped us from working on it. It really shouldn't prevent you from playing it.

besides it wouldn be fair for others, releasing a MOD at one of the fans request. what a bout the others? I'm sure they have excuses to release on other dates. No mater how you try theres always someone unhappy about it. BAD LUCK!!!

Is there any more information about it being released on a coverdisk?

Coverdisks is probably not an option due to the material that we have (unlicensed stuff). I doubt very much that any magazine would even try and put our stuff on there for legal reasons.
I'm inclined not even to try at this point because it may bring some kind of action against the group...which would be very unfavorable.
I will look into it...but very cautiously.

tsk, tsk, impatient aren't we? You've waited this long, you can wait a bit longer, and as for going to college - you're starting college pretty late compared to me, I'm a third of the way through this semester already. I believe you may need to brush up on your time management skillz.

I feel a little stupid for posting a response so late, but on to a current subject, the cover disks - If you want an unofficial release, just tell us how you want it packaged and we'll make a release on my campus at our gaming club, and I'm sure others will too.

You can, but it's much easier and efficient to use joystick.

Wish computer had right joystick plug...
My computer has the wrong dang plug for joysticks. Of course thats what I get for getting a Compaq, all those UBB or whatever ports. I can fly fine with keyboard, just can do it better with joystick.
BTW, anyone know where to get an adaptor for those plugs to the plugs that work for a Microsoft Sindwinder joystick?

You don't have a Gameport on your computer? Some computers have two or three!
The next question would be...you don't have an adapter for USB for your MS joystick? How old is it? Starting three years ago, they included USB adapters for standard gameport joysticks.

If you have USB now its a good time for a new stick. Todays sticks are way much better than they were, now its more precise and do not drift away when it gets hot. MS sidewinders have this special tech that avoids the disavantages of analogic sticks (its actualy a digital stick but mimics analogic ones ).
I've heard that thrustmaster , now guilemot has a new world-beating stick. its after the F-16 (again) but its windows friendly and has a new tech that enables it to have an unprecedented accuracy. Its all made in metal for durability, I would get one If I could. $$$$$$

I'm too lazy...
I just don't feel like walking all of 100-150 yards to the PX, military version of very small shopping mall, and look for the adaptor... or walk about 500-600 yards to the bank nearby and get the money for a new one
