Galen are u sure that the Primus has beam cannons? i have to say i have never seen them use beams on any of their ships.

Actually Primus does not have any beam cannons.

Or why they weren't used in battles?
Or did you saw them using beams? I think not.

They where used in battles if you remember; The Centauri sent a Primus Class BattleCruiser to B5, then a Narn Heavy Cruiser came out of HyperSpace and Attacked it. They both used Beam Cannons. I will see if I can find some screens.

Edit; And Now For a Word; Was the show, still looking for screens.

Yes ! I know exactly what episode you are referring to . But :

1. This was at a time they didn't already work out the exact arnaments of the capital ships. In this episode you saw both the narn and the centauri vessel fire with strange weapons . Not only the Centauri used beam weapons , the narn cruiser didn't use its powerful forward beams featured in later episodes . It was a strange episode

2. Later , with THE FALL OV NIGHT we saw the true weaponry of the Primus.

3. I suggest we stick to the later episodes and ignore this strange one . That means : Primus has better omnidirectional firepower with its long range cannons that have medium to heavy punchthrough . The narn G'Quan has poor omnidirectional firepower ( if any ) but extremely powerful front beams . if directly heading towards a Primus I'd say the G'Quan wins , but otherwise the Primus would .

Note : These are just MY thoughts.

well here is my point of view ...
as a modeler I inform ya guys..

Primius do have 4 beam cannon, 8 turrets heavy twin arrays
GQuan 2 GNat guns(BFR like laser)
2 energy mine launcher .,4 medium plasma guns and 4 point defence twin arrays
PERIOD END OF DISCUTION.

B5tech? Tpb2? Or some other site that has copied everything from either B5tech or Tpb2?

No, only one episode suggests that Primus has beam cannons is that weird episode, and everything else suggests that it has eight double pulse turrets.

And if some one still things that pulse turrets are far worser than beams, you are wrong. Pulse cannons can be even more powerful than beams, it depends heavily on used technology.

Even one of the firstones used pulse turrets on their ships. Not powerful enough?

Oh okay =) That works! Oh ya that first ones ship can be seen here [url="http://hyperspace.isnnews.net/first/index.html"]http://hyperspace.isnnews.net/first/index.html[/url] it is the one in the bottom right corner. The on above it shoots some kind of of beam weapon, the other two shoot some sort lightning weapons.
