hey whitestar converting LOW files into DXF your actualy destroying the model insted of building it.
convert it to cob and then to pof this is the best way.
Capt. white : I hope you have a large menu because you might get in for one massive indegestion!!!

hehehe just converted the shadow spitfire the zephyr the sentri and the frazi I know they work They are dysplayed correctly In the Ships database but I cannot play any mission yet because My DVD has been relocated to my new PC wich is going to be ready next week afeter a... (how should I put this?) accident The cd I have on My celery 400 doenst read FS2 disks (typical of creative drives...:mad so I MIGHT need a volunteer to test these ships and post some screenies to see if the engine glow and weapons ports are correctly placed.
OK who whants to test them?
I would prefer a B5 MOD team menber.

how do you convert cob to pof? I've downloaded kazans program and it won't run at all.WHY IS THIS SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS.

it could have something to do with the fact that
A) my program doesn't and will not in current sight be able to understand DXFs
B) Even the COB conversion code isn't finished

I got the ships textured converted into the game......
and they fly sideways standing up!!!!!!!
Man this is fustrating ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

use truespace and make sure the point to teh left front on the screen from the normal view point and then they will be correctly orientated for the game

My friend thank you for the chance to test out your little mod pack.It was a success,except for the sentri,it crashes the game,crashes segeltuch,crashes modview,and crashes fred2.Other than that I gave you a grade of an A. Very well done and I really appreciate it!!!!

I have suffered a setback on MODing after whitestastar55 and one other guy reported to me that my models had bugs, I investigated solved some but I foud that my frazi is useless. It crashes the game because kazans CS says it has 9999 possible guns and missiles ports. I did made this model from more than one mesh I converted. the other single mesh models work fine.
The only way my frazi wont crash the game is if doesn have any guns, just a flying brick.
Also found that Cap ships that are made with more than 1 subobject have the same problem. is it possible to go arround or this problem or this is the reazon why you also have buggy B5 meshes that have to be redone?ice? kazan?capt. white? so what gives?
