Yep, Lorien IS the FirstOne... His race is the oldest in this galaxy. Anyway he is my best choice, I kinda like the idea to give part of my lifeforce to someone who really needs it . Second best choice is a mixture of a Shadow and a Vorlon, without certain level of competition & chaos AND order & discipline the evolution will stop. A Minbari I would bever like to be, they live for too long time: you shouldn't see too much death and suffering during your life, it'll drive you nuts... I'd be a Human (I actually am one right now... Maybe some trouble with my identity, I don't know ). No telepath, that sucks: I don't wanna hear everything thet people around me are thinking. Spooky...

Kazan, if you want to look up something Minbari, try reading up on the Stoic school of philosophy. I've found it very similar to their religion. Good reading would include the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius.
Unless you want one of their ships, in which case I suggest you research quantum theory and find a way to transport yourself to the parallel universe in which Babylon 5 exists...

Stoicism is very similar to what the Minbari believe in the show. JMS probably got some ideas about the Minbari culture from Stoicism.
