There's nothing wrong with charity, as long as it winds up in your pocket.

Ferengi Rule of Acquisition #144.

And by the way, the chance that a Freespace 3 will be developed is obviously extremely improbable. So, rather than getting an Improbability Drive, which would be rather hard to find in the unfashionable West Arm of the galaxy, BWO will just have to do for me.

They say money doesn't buy happiness
then why does copious amounts of the stuff make people happy?

No tell Interply might chage there mind about not making a Freespace3 so far most of the Science Fic game they have made like Star Trek Klingon Academy and Star Trek New World, and also that Icewind game. have all gotten bad rateings and they arnt very good i have all of them all not the Icewind game. so they might just think we made better money with the freespace seris then we did with these other games. i dont now just talking to my self hehehe.

no, i think it would probably keep with the origional idea, but might introduce the idea that a cap ship can get a peice sliced off and that if a ship gets an engine sliced off it might still move (on thrusters) and fight(with low energy weapons such as flak, missiles and low energy lasers). after all, navy ships incorperate a lot of redundant systems, hell, some of the large destroyers might even have a spare jump drive, which would alow a double jump. they certainly have the raw power available for it. i would also like to start seeing some real battle groups being used in the upcoming campaign. in real life, cap ships like carriers and battleships use a layered defense startegy that uses cruisers and destroyers to screen larger vessels against threats. i would love to see at least one realistic battle involving an all out attack against a hecate or orion that is being screened by a deimos, three aolus, three leviathon, and a fenris. and when i say all out, i mean like three squads at a time of the big bombers with two squads of escort fighters. the player would get a light anti fighter patrol of interceptors or gunfighters, with the alert fighters 1 minute after the attack begins with more at 5 minutes.
