First, the seth is unmatched by the Herc 2, and the Tauret. I was in a dogfight recently, with my trusty seth, and we kicked ass! The seth needs not be replaced, or be given the cold shoulder by newer pilots.
As for it being in FS1, I think alot of the ships were better in fs1, but not the Sekhmet...
...Or the bakha...
I made them so that they would work in fs1, abd they kickass!

I somehow doubt that FS1's engine could handle a bunch of high-poly FS2 fighters buzzing about.... Though the Sekhmet is a pretty big model.
The problem with converting all of the weapons is obvious: FS1 doesn't handle beams.

***** pointed that out in his mods forum a LONG time ago, and I said "why not use turrets that shoot shielded bombs?" Anyway, I meant the fighter weapons. If I'd meant the capship weapons too, I'd have just said to do a total conversion.

Actually, I have to say that I prefer the Perseus and the Medusa. Haven't tried the Vasudan bombers a lot. But for a Vasudan fighter, I'd probably say Horus. Dunno why.

I also like the Horus, because it can equip the Kayser, and Mekhu+Kayser is really nice. It's missile capacity is nothing to sneeze at either.
