Inspired by the nicknames thread.
What names would you like to see preceded by EAS? And why.
Omega class:
Simms (for Raphael Simms, captain of the Confederate navy, pioneer of commerce raiding)
Ramon (Israeli Air Force Col. Illan Ramon- led the rais in 1982 on Iraq nuclear program-killed on the shuttle Columbia)
Hood
Bismark
Arizona
Yamato
Akagi
Ark Royal
Saratoga (WWII cruiser, battleships and carriers)
Explorer class:
Roddenberry
Straczynski (well duh...)

I think the Omega destroyers are usually named for Greek or Roman mythological figures. Those names might be better suited for a Hyperion/Midwinter or Nova.
