Half in subspace

I made a mission with a Hades in it and an Arcadia blows up, yadda yadda yadda.

Anyway, to the point: When the Hades jumped out, it stopped going into the subspace portal. The portal closed with half of the ship sticking out in realspace. There was no IFF signature. Anyway, I turned so that I could get a better look by looking at the sun as well. By the time I looked back, the Hades had gone. It was quite funny, actually.

Hey F S W.

Probably a bug. I'd guess that the explosion somehow interfered with the graphics of the Hades sticking out. I think it just didn't calculate the graphics of the Hades departing entirely.

My favorite is blowing a ship up when they're halfway through the portal. very funny to see bits an pieces jump into subspace.

I would hate to be on the recieving end, though.

I blew up a Dis in Lion at the Gates (first knossos mission- name?) as it departed... got a wierd - but neat - funnelling effect of the xplosion

I had an Aten's hull strength reach 0% as it accelerated to jump out. The warp hole openned but the Aten did a slow motion roll kind off forwards and to the left (as explosions racked the surface of it), missing the now closing warp hole, before the cruiser blew up. It look impressive, but I'll never be able to repeat it. Shame that.

while in RI (Rebel Intercept, a mission for the multiplayer part of the game, where all ships enter the system and then jump out, and you, of course, have to get all of them while they are in RealSpace) get in front of the Napoleon (Fenris, first ship that jumps in) and take out its hull until it comes to 30%. Then lock on the Helios, and just as it is about to make the jump, launch them...
