All planes are grounded. One plane hit near the Pentagon (and a part of the Pentagon has been wasted), and apparently another hit something in Pennsylvania.

They're tracking another hijacked plane in their airspace.

all of america is basically shut down - travel in the air - travel into the country by land and sea too - the stock markets shut down - it wasn't the building the terrorists were after they were trying to hurt the whole of the us the economy everything and they have succeded

its incredibually hard to believe - i hope they make who ever is responcible pay for it dearly - death row is far to good for them they should take some lessons from the dark ages about torture

And not only does the dollar go down, so goes a lot of things up. The value of gold has skyrocketed in Europe, and in the near days, so will go fuel. We're talking about the loss of thousands of lives and worldwide economical disaster.

I wish for a very long and painful death to those who had the clever idea of doing this.

Careful ! Most likeley the terrorists were muslims but not all muslims are terrorists.
Most of them are far more civilized than the americans will ever be.

I am against those "Kill em all" ideologies. I am for a precise "Who exactly is responsible" investigation and and then for a precise "this person will face an extremely unpleasant death" operation.

Skullar is very right. The deaths of thousands of innocents in the United States during this attack cannot justify an equal amount of killing somewhere else.

I think everyone agrees that the people who planned and supported this attack should be tracked down and punished for what they have done. Unfortunately, I doubt it will be limited to that.

This incident is being compaired to Pearl Harbor....those who studied history will know that Pearl Harbor galvanized the United States into entering WW2. What this will do is beyond imagination at this point.

Who ever did this is going to pay dearly!!!Both towers destroyed, part of pentagon is blown to hell, plane crashed in pittsburg, one about eighty mile out of pittsburg, and one thing I am very sad to say that there is suposidly one still missing!! If this was an attack funded by a government there is only one recourse, WAR, and I say that what ever country that did this will be bombed into the stoneage!!NO ONE ATTAKS MY COUNTRY AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!!!

At least the plane in pensivvania didn't reach it's destination and they think the crew purposely crashed the plane to stop even more people from getting killed. They think it's the same person who bombed the US embasies last year and it turns out (well acording to the BBC and CNN) he made a threat a few weeks ago saying he will do something unforgetable to america.
Well with america pissed he and his terrorist group won't be around for long and there yould definately be a crackdown against all teriosm around the world (well civilised countries anyway).
