I discovered the secret. Goto VW main and access the VWBB from the link at the top of the page there. Then magically all the new topics will always be a yellow eye for you.

This is totally weird. I change my settings to veiw "All Topics" and suddendly it starts useing that glowing eyes thing for new posts! I think I figured it out!!! w00t. Test it out and tell me whatca think!!!
