Could someone please tell me where screenshots are stored in FS and in FS2? I've been trying to find them and it's driving me insane.

Screenshots stored in FS? Are you asking how to get screenshots from in the game? If so, what I do for that is just play the game and then press "Print Screen" on the keyboard, then open up a graphics program, paste the image (usually as a new image) and save it as a .gif or .jpg or whatever.

no, but freespace 1 used to start at 0 again each time you quit, so they would be re-written...
