Some of my system specs:

Asus A7M266 mobo
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ cpu
256 MB DDR Ram
Asus V8200 GeForce 3 Deluxe
Guillemot Maxi Sound Fortissimo
MS IntelliMouse Optical USB

Freespace 1 will stop receiving mouse button commands.
I can move the cursor around but the game fails to respond to button clicks.

If I unplug the mouse then plug it back in it works long enough to exit Freespace, usually.

*sigh*

Anyone have any ideas what is causing this problem?
