My little Tbolt weapon mod in the making

I was wondering how they got the Omagas to shoot their anti fighter guns in buersts? I think I could get the Thunderbolt to do it to, in the show they shoot the same whay.

They used Swarm missle code to make it shoot in bursts

Tried that...didn't work too nicely...and I figure it would cause people major headaches when they were trying to aim.

Could you instead try making the TBolt gun take up a massive amount of power, but also have the recharge rate really high? That way, by the time you've fired a burst, your energy is dry, but it'll refill quick enough to let off another burst, and repeat.

how did you get it too work? I can't get my ship to do it, show me how please? And that would be a good way to do it but the AI would not shoot it right. Please Icefire tell me what I have to do If not for the mod then for me?

I fould actualy lke it that way, when i have a joystick i use i put it on autofire (aoutfire on most joystick "presses" for half a second while you hold it down then releases it and does it again a half second later) with most newer games like FS2, you don't need to contiually tap the fire buton so this gives a burst effect. Much more realistic and i like that way.
